Group Therapy
Visit our FAQ page to help answer your questions about our Groups at APWC.
What is Group Therapy?
Group therapy is a unique and powerful counselling experience that can help transform your current state of being through shared connection and healing with fellow group members. Groups allow us to interact with others who are navigating similar experiences and can relate to what we are going through. Social support is drawn from group members (other Moms) and facilitators (Registered Psychologists who are also Moms) who have specialized knowledge of the topics being discussed.
Benefits of Group Therapy

Groups are a cost-effective way to receive psychological and social support on a weekly basis
Groups are easy to fit into your schedule due to regular weekly session times
Our Groups have limited enrolment with two facilitators per group, giving you opportunities to ask questions, share experiences, and get to know each other
Groups offer a safe environment to give and receive support with other Moms who are going through many of the same challenges you are
Our Groups offer topic-oriented sessions each week, matching specific Motherhood challenges that are commonly experienced
